WH Doctor: Trump in Excellent Cognitive and Physical Health

President Donald Trump’s comprehensive health report was released on Sunday, with his physician finding him to be in “excellent” physical and mental health.

“President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function. His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being. President Trump’s days include participation in multiple meetings, public appearances, press availability, and frequent victories in golf events,” Captain Sean Barbabella, the president’s physician, wrote in a summary of the report.

“President Trump exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health and is fully fit to execute the duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State,” the doctor continued.

Trump underwent his annual physical examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland on Friday.

The report is the most detailed physical account of Trump’s health since he was sworn into office in January.

Trump weighs 224 pounds and is 75 inches tall, the report said. He has a resting heart rate of 62 beats per minute, and his blood pressure is 128/74 mmHg.

He scored 30 out of 30 on a Montreal Cognitive Assessment exam, according to the report.

The report additionally detailed that Trump, at some point, underwent cataract surgery, but did not specify when.

According to the physical report, examining Trump’s head and ears “revealed no significant abnormalities with the exception of scaring [sic] on the right ear from a gunshot wound.”

Last July, Trump was the target of an assassination attempt after a bullet struck and injured the upper part of his right ear.

That week, Trump wore a large white bandage on his ear while attending the Republican National Convention to accept the Republican presidential nomination.
